Security install at Arm & Hammer project

Local 229 Voice -  Data - Video Technicians employed by I.B. Abel Inc. successfully completed the installation of a security system at Arm & Hammer in Jackson Township York County. Techs were busy for months installing thousands of feet of Fiber optic and security cable. They also had countless hours terminating cable and mounting cameras.

With the bulk of the project being built non-union it was good to see that a portion of the job done was by Local 229 members. Future expansion projects are already being planned along with long term maintenance. Since its completion date I.B. Abel has become the preferred electrical contractor at the facility.The craftsmanship and professionalism demonstrated by our VDV Techs showed the customer that IBEW craftsmen are who they want to install and maintain their electrical and VDV systems.
